Wetenschap
Dit is waarom:
* Stellar Color and Temperature: De kleur van een ster is direct gerelateerd aan de oppervlaktetemperatuur.
* Rode sterren: Red stars are the coolest, with surface temperatures ranging from about 2,500 to 3,500 degrees Celsius.
* Andere kleuren: As stars get hotter, they become:
* Oranje
* Yellow (like our Sun)
* Wit
* Blue (the hottest)
Think of it like a piece of metal being heated. As it gets hotter, it glows red, then orange, then yellow, and finally white-hot. Hetzelfde principe is van toepassing op sterren!
