How is velocity expressed?

Velocity is expressed as speed with a direction . Hier is hoe het kapot gaat:

* snelheid: This is the rate at which an object moves. It's measured in units like meters per second (m/s), kilometers per hour (km/h), or miles per hour (mph).

* richting: This tells you where the object is moving. Je zou kompasrichtingen (noord, zuid, oost, west), hoeken kunnen gebruiken ten opzichte van een referentiepunt, of zelfs woorden als "omhoog", "down", "links" of "rechts".

Voorbeelden:

* "The car is traveling at 60 mph to the north." This tells us the car's speed and its direction.

* "The ball is rolling at 2 meters per second towards the south." This also gives us the speed and direction of the ball.

Sleutelpunt: Snelheid is een vectorhoeveelheid , meaning it has both magnitude (speed) and direction.
