The heat in the middle of sun?

The heat in the middle of the sun is intense , reaching a staggering 15 million degrees Celsius (27 million degrees Fahrenheit) .

Here's why it's so hot:

* kernfusie: De kern van de zon is waar nucleaire fusie plaatsvindt. This is a process where hydrogen atoms fuse together to form helium, releasing immense amounts of energy in the form of light and heat.

* zwaartekracht: The sun's immense gravity pulls all its mass inwards, creating incredible pressure at the core. This pressure is essential for nuclear fusion to occur.

* Dense Plasma: The sun's core is made of extremely dense plasma, a superheated state of matter where atoms are stripped of their electrons. This plasma is extremely conductive, allowing heat to transfer efficiently throughout the core.

To give you an idea of how hot it is:

* The surface of the sun is around 5,500 degrees Celsius (9,932 degrees Fahrenheit), already incredibly hot.

* The core is about 2,700 times hotter than the surface!

This extreme heat is the primary source of energy for the entire solar system, driving everything from Earth's climate to plant growth.
